Beethoven & BeyondBeethoven CycleTrio Aristos will be performing the complete Beethoven string trios throughout the year. At certain venues the ensemble will perform the full cycle. The first such performnce will be at Nødebo Kro on March 9th, where Aristos will perform all 5 trios in one concert. On July 10th and 13th Aristos will be performing the full Beethoven Cycle at the Royal Tivoli Garden, Copenhagen. Violist Alexander Øllgaard and cellist Jakob Kullberg will also be performing the rarely heard Beethoven string duo in E-flat Major. Beethoven & Modern Music In the autumn of 2008 Trio Aristos will give a series of 3 concerts at the Royal Library "The Black Diamond" where Beethoven's 3 op.9 trios will be the focal point. Each of these concerts will also feature a premiere of a new work composed for the ensemble by British composer Simon Holt as well as Danish composers Bent Sørensen and Simon Steen-Andersen. |
